Nitrox Welding Inc. ("Nitrox Welding", "we") values the protection of your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you. We handle your information in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

We only collect the information you voluntarily provide through our forms (quote request, contact and careers), namely:

• your name and, where applicable, your company name;
• your contact details (email address, phone number);
• the content of your message and the details of your request or order;
• files you attach (for example drawings, photos or a resume);
• your billing and shipping address when you prepare a quote request.

Our host detects your country from your IP address in order to display the appropriate currency (CAD, USD or "price on request"). This detection happens at display time and is neither stored nor linked to your identity.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• respond to your requests and prepare quotes;
• process applications received through the careers form;
• communicate with you about your projects and our products;
• keep the site secure and prevent unwanted automated submissions.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We rely on a limited number of providers to operate the site:

• an email delivery service to forward form submissions to our team;
• our hosting provider to host the site and detect the country (currency);
• an anti-bot verification service to protect our forms from abuse.

We may also disclose information where required by law. Some of these providers may process data outside Quebec or Canada.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not use advertising cookies. Your cart contents are kept locally in your browser (local storage) and are only sent to our team when you submit your request.

We keep your information for as long as necessary to act on your request and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is securely destroyed.
